Fixed income ETFs have ballooned in demand over the past 18 months as fund selectors capture attractive yields via a cost-effective and efficient vehicle.

According to data from ETFbook, fixed income ETFs saw a record $70bn inflows in 2023 amid the sharp spike in yields following the Federal Reserve’s rapid interest rate hiking cycle.

Amid ongoing uncertainty around the direction of inflation, this roundtable in partnership with Xtrackers by DWS assessed how bond ETFs allow investors to stay nimble as well as a closer look at how investors are positioning portfolios for the next 12 months.
