The ICE Emerging Markets Corporate Plus Paris-Aligned Absolute Emissions Index (the “PAB Index”) is a modified version of the ICE BofA Emerging Markets Corporate Plus Index (the “Parent Index”). The PAB Index takes into account Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) factors, including the exclusion of securities of issuers that do not meet requirements for inclusion in Paris-Aligned benchmarks under the EU and UK Benchmark Regulation (“BMR”) and adjustments to security weightings so as to reduce the overall carbon footprint of the PAB Index in accordance with BMR.
