Benchmark

The Bloomberg Euro Short Treasury (0-12 Months) Bond Index measures the performance of Euro-denominated bonds issued by member states of the Eurozone. They have a maturity at issuance (i.e. the time from issue until they become due for repayment) greater than 12 months and at least 0 to 12 months remaining until maturity at the time of inclusion in the Index and a minimum amount outstanding of €300 million. They will pay income according to a fixed rate of interest and will, at the time of inclusion in the Index, be investment grade (i.e. meet a specified level of creditworthiness).
