Benchmark

The UBS EUR Treasury Yield Plus sub-fund aims to achieve an attractive return, taking into account both capital appreciation and income returns by investing predominantly in EUR denominated fixed-rate, investment-grade sovereign, sovereign related and supranational debt. This sub-fund is actively managed and uses the Bloomberg Euro Treasury Bond Index as a reference for portfolio construction, performance comparison and risk management but is not constrained by it. The majority of the sub-fund's securities will be components of the benchmark. This sub-fund will seek to outperform the benchmark over the long-term. The sub-fund will invest its net assets predominantly in fixed-rate, investment-grade sovereign and sovereign related debt from member states of the European Union as well as into supranational debt. The sub-fund seeks to enhance its income potential with a rules-based approach which exploits yield opportunities in EUR denominated sovereign, sovereign related and supranational debt while broadly maintaining similar risk characteristics versus its reference benchmark.
