Benchmark

The Bloomberg Global Government AAA-AA Capped Bond Index measures the performance of local currency bonds issued by governments of developed countries worldwide. The bonds will have a minimum average credit rating of Aa3 by Moody’s, AA- by S&P and/or AA- by Fitch, the leading credit rating agencies. The maximum market value weight for a country with government debt rated AAA (or its equivalent) is capped at 20%, while a country with government debt rated AA (or its equivalent) is capped at 10%. Any market value weight in excess of the relevant cap is redistributed pro rata among the government debt issues of the remaining countries, subject to the above caps.
