Benchmark

The Bloomberg MSCI ESG Global Corporate 1-5 Year Select Hedged GBP Index is a multi-currency benchmark that tracks the fixed-rate, investment-grade corporate debt with between 1 and up to, but not including, 5 years remaining to maturity. The index includes issuers with MSCI ESG Ratings of BBB or higher, and negatively screens issuers that are involved in business activities that are restricted because they are inconsistent with certain values-based business involvement criteria, including activities related to controversial military weapons, and those issuers with a "red" MSCI ESG Controversy Score. Additionally, the index excludes issuers that derive at least 10% of revenue from Distribution, Selling or Supplying of Tobacco, and from September 2020 the index also excludes issuers that derive at least 5% of revenue from Thermal Coal, Generation of Thermal Coal, or Oil Sands.
