The WisdomTree Global Developed Quality Dividend Growth Index is a fundamentally weighted index that is comprised of companies with the best combined rank of growth and quality factors from global developed markets, selected from the WisdomTree Global Dividend Index. The eligible companies are ranked using the best combined rank of growth and quality factors. Specifically, the Index gauges “growth” and “quality” by weighing certain characteristics associated with growth and quality companies. These are (i) long-term estimated earnings growth (ii) historical three-year average return on equity, and (iii) historical three-year average return on assets. Companies with these “growth and quality characteristics” are then weighted in order to reflect the proportionate share of the aggregate cash dividends each component company paid over the prior annual cycle.
