Benchmark

The WisdomTree Europe CHF-Hedged Equity Index is a dividend weighted index designed to provide exposure to European equity securities, particularly shares of European exporters, while at the same time neutralising exposure to fluctuations between the value of the Swiss Franc and the Euro. The Index consists of those dividend paying companies within the WisdomTree Dividend Index of Europe, Far East Asia and Australasia (the "WisdomTree International Equity Index") that are organised under the laws of a European country and trade in Euro, have at least $1 billion in market capitalisation, and derive at least 50% of their revenue from countries outside of Europe. The currency hedging methodology consists of entering into a one-month forward currency contract (a contract between two parties to buy or sell a specific currency in the future at an agreed upon exchange rate) in order to hedge the underlying foreign currency exposure arising as a result of the difference between the Swiss Franc and the Euro.
