Benchmark

The FTSE USA ESG Low Carbon Select Index integrates environmental, social and governance (ESG), carbon emissions and fossil fuel reserves considerations. The Index aims to achieve an ESG score uplift (20% improvement on ESG ratings), carbon emissions reduction (50% reduction on carbon intensity) and fossil fuel reserves reduction (50% reduction on fossil fuels reserves intensity) relative to the parent FTSE USA Index. Index also excludes companies involved in weapons, tobacco, thermal coal, nuclear energy, and also applies UN Global Compact (UNGC) controversies exclusion.
