The actively managed First Trust Cboe Vest U.S. Equity MAX Buffer UCITS ETF seeks to match S&P 500 Index returns up to a predetermined "Upside Cap" while providing a "Buffer" against Index losses over an approximately one-year "Target Outcome Period." It primarily invests in FLEX Options. Both the Upside Cap (at least 7%) and the Buffer are set at the beginning of each period, influenced by market conditions, and reduced by fees and expenses. Returns exceeding the cap are not realized by investors, and losses beyond the buffer are absorbed one-to-one. The fund resets annually with new caps and buffers. Investing carries the risk of losing some or all capital.
