The CoinDesk 10 Capped ex Bitcoin Settlement Index measures the performance of the ten largest and most liquid cryptocurrencies, excluding Bitcoin. It is a market capitalization-weighted index that applies capping constraints to limit the weight of any single constituent, with the largest asset capped at 18% and all others capped at 9% at reconstitution. The settlement index is a Volume-Weighted Average Price based on multiple exchanges and is used to settle derivative contracts.
