Benchmark

The Index is designed to track the performance of a diversified basket of metal commodities that are associated with the energy transition theme, which include, but are not limited to electric vehicles, transmission, charging, energy storage, solar, wind, and hydrogen production. The Index was developed by WisdomTree, Inc. (“WT”), in collaboration with third party specialists in the energy transition space. The selection and weighting of index components is based on an intensity rating, created in collaboration with third party specialists, which measures the exposure and growth metrics for each commodity within the usage of energy transition technologies, as well as each commodity’s market balance. The maximum weight of each commodity is capped at 20% at the rebalance. The Index is reconstituted on a semi-annual basis in January and July. Excess and total return versions of the Index are calculated and published.
