Benchmark

The iBoxx EUR Sovereigns 0-1 Capped index reflects certain types of tradable debt (bonds) denominated in Euro currencies issued by the governments of Eurozone countries that have a remaining time to maturity of less than one year. Certain selection criteria may also be considered such as minimum issue size and bond type. Each bond in the index is weighted according to the amount outstanding and the weight of a country is capped at 35 percent of the market value of the index at the rebalancing date. The remaining market weight is redistributed on a pro-rate basis across other countries. The index is calculated on a total return basis, which means that amounts equivalent to interest payments are reinvested in the index.
