Benchmark

The MSCI Europe Low Carbon SRI Leaders is based on the MSCI Europe Index, its parent index, and includes large and mid-cap stocks across Developed Markets (DM) countries in Europe. The index aims to represent the performance of companies that have low exposure to carbon risk, identified as companies with low carbon emission intensity and low potential emissions per dollar of market capitalization and have high Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance. The Index excludes companies whose products have negative social or environmental impacts. Constituent selection is based on the research provided by MSCI ESG Research and it applies Values Based Exclusions, as defined in the methodology of the MSCI SRI Indexes.
