Benchmark

The MSCI Europe High Dividend Yield Advanced Select index aims to reflect the performance of a sub-set of equity securities within the MSCI Europe Index (Parent Index) and applies an optimisation process which seeks to target exposure to companies with higher dividend yield and quality characteristics whilst also seeking to achieve a carbon reduction and environmental, social and governance (ESG) score improvement relative to the Parent Index. Issuers may be excluded if they are involved in controversial, conventional and nuclear weapons, civilian firearms, tobacco, thermal coal, oil sands and classified as violating the United Nations Global Compact principles. The Index also excludes companies based on their involvement in very severe ESG related controversies.
