Benchmark

The J.P. Morgan Global Government ESG Liquid Bond Index (JESG GBI Liquid) is a comprehensive benchmark that spans across all liquid and local currency government bonds from global markets. The index applies an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) scoring and screening methodology to tilt toward issuers ranked higher on ESG criteria, and to underweight or remove issuers that rank lower. The ESG scores from third-party research providers Sustainalytics and RepRisk. This index does not exclude countries based on credit ratings and therefore spans both investment grade and sub-investment grade local currency government bond markets across developed and emerging markets. The exposure is hedged back to EUR.
