The WisdomTree US GBP Hedged Equity Income Index is a fundamentally weighted index and is comprised of the highest dividend yielding common stocks selected from the WisdomTree Dividend Index (US). As of the annual Index screening date, companies within the WisdomTree Dividend Index (US) are ranked by dividend yield. Securities ranking in the highest 30% by dividend yield are selected for inclusion within the Index. The currency hedging methodology consists of entering into a one-month forward currency contract (a contract between two parties to buy or sell a specific currency in the future at an agreed upon exchange rate) in order to hedge the underlying foreign currency exposure arising as a result of the difference between the Sterling and the US Dollar.
