Benchmark

The Bloomberg MSCI ESG Euro Corporate 1-5 Year Select Index is a fixed-rate, investment-grade corporate bond benchmark that follows the rules of the Bloomberg Euro Aggregate Corporate Index and applies additional ESG criteria for security eligibility. To be eligible, bonds must also have at least 1, and up to, but not including, 5 years remaining to maturity. The index negatively screens issuers that are involved in business activities that are restricted because they are inconsistent with certain valuesbased business involvement criteria, and excludes those issuers with a “red” MSCI ESG Controversies Score. The index includes issuers with MSCI ESG Ratings of BBB or higher, and excludes issuers with greater than 5% revenue from business activities related to thermal coal or oil sands.
