The iBoxx EUR European Union Select Index measures diversified exposure to EUR denominated investment grade debt issued by the European Union, including new issuances of European Union (EU) bonds under SURE and NextGenerationEU providing forward looking exposure to the expected growth of the EU bond asset class. It contains large exposure to social-linked bonds with green issuance expected to rise making it interesting for ESG (environmental, social and governance) compliant investing. It also contains AAA/Aaa/AA-rated by Fitch, Moody’s and S&P Supranationals issuing joint debt on behalf of the European Union member states.
