Benchmark

The Bloomberg MSCI Global Aggregate SRI Carbon ESG-Weighted Select Index follows the rules of the Bloomberg Global Aggregate Index, with additional criteria for security eligibility. For corporate, covered, agency and supranational issuers, the index applies the standard Bloomberg MSCI SRI and ESG Controversy screens while also negatively screening issuers involved in business activities that are restricted because they are inconsistent with certain value-based business involvement criteria, including activities with high carbon intensity. Issuers in this bucket must also have an MSCI ESG Rating of BB or higher, and an MSCI ESG Score of 2 or higher for each ESG pillar, to be included. Issuer weights are tilted using MSCI ESG Ratings, for all issuers in all sectors except ABS, MBS and CMBS. Sub-sector neutrality is applied versus the Bloomberg Global Aggregate Index, detailed below.
