Benchmark

The Bloomberg UK Gilt 1-5 Year Index measures the performance of the UK Government bond (Gilt) market and includes public obligations of the United Kingdom with a maturity between 1 and up to (but not including) 5 years. Using market capitalisation weighting and a standard rule-based inclusion methodology, the Index reflects the performance and characteristics of the Gilt market. Securities must be rated investment grade, as defined by The Bloomberg Index Methodology.
