The Bloomberg MSCI Euro Corporate SRI 0-5 Year PAB Index aims to reflect the performance of certain types of tradable debt (bonds) issued by companies which are denominated in Euro, with a remaining time to maturity of at least 1 month and up to (but not including) 5 years. The index aims to comply with the minimum standards of the EU Paris-aligned Benchmark (EU PAB) Regulation by setting an initial 50% decarbonization of absolute greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions relative to the standard Bloomberg Euro Corporate 0-5 Years Index, followed by an annual 7% decarbonization trajectory of absolute GHG emissions. In addition, the index excludes those bonds issued by companies which fail to meet certain environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria.
