ETF Stream’s flagship event of the year, ETF Ecosystem Unwrapped, is just around the corner and we are delighted to be bringing together a line-up of top investors, ETF experts and asset management leaders.
If you have not seen the event by now, Europe’s largest ETF event this year is set to bring together all participants within the ETF industry from fund selectors and wealth managers to market makers and custodians.
As highlighted in the agenda, day one is for ETF buyers; professional investors who want to understand every aspect of investing in ETFs while day two is for the industry, to discuss key developments taking place across the European ETF ecosystem.
This showcase event, which is set to take place on 26 and 27 May, totals 40+ speakers giving attendees the chance to interact with the leading experts in the ETF space.
As a result, ETF Stream has listed five reasons why ETF Ecosystem Unwrapped is the must-attend event of 2021.
1. The showcase ETF event in Europe
Interested in any aspect of the ETF landscape from investing to best execution practices? Then this is the event for you. Throughout the two days, we will be discussing the dos and don’ts of ETF investing all the way through to the changing ETF market structure in Europe.
2. Splitting investors and the ecosystem
We thought long and hard about how to separate the two days. Many events we saw do it by topic or simply mix all the sessions in random order. By creating one day for professional investors and one for the ecosystem, we hope to provide an event that is both engaging and thought-provoking.
3. Speaker line-up
ETF Ecosystem Unwrapped boasts a line-up of 40+ expert speakers ranging from top investors and heads of ETF issuers to market makers and exchanges.
Environmental, social and governance (ESG) is at the top of the agenda for investors right now and will be a key theme throughout the two days. How ESG ETFs are at the forefront of the sustainable boom will be discussed along with how regulation such as the Sustainable Finance Disclosures Regulation (SFDR) is impacting the space.
5. Talking diversity issues
The final session of day two is dedicated to discussing diversity issues within financial services. First up, a panel of Women In ETFs members will talk about how the ETF industry can further tackle gender equality issues.
Then, Gavin Lewis, managing director of BlackRock and co-founder of #Talkaboutblack, will discuss where are we now one year on from the killing of George Floyd and where the industry can go from here in a not-to-miss fireside chat.
