A Chinese healthcare ETF hopes to outperform the MSCI China A index

KraneShares lists Chinese healthcare ETF

China specialist KraneShares is listing a new ETF that targets healthcare and pharmaceutical companies in China. The KraneShares MSCI All China Health Care Index ETF (KURE) will track the MSCI China A Health Care Index, which captures large and mid-cap Chinese healthcare companies listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges.

Looking through the list of companies the index tracks are names like: JIANGSU HENGRUI MED, KANGMEI PHARMACEUTICAL, YUNNAN BAIYAO GROUP, SHANGHAI FOSUN PHARMA, DONG E E JIAO. Perhaps they will be more familiar to readers than to this writer. The index contains 67 companies and is rebalanced every six months. (An index factsheet is available here).

Yuanta lists bond funds

Yuanta Securities, one of the largest ETF issuers in Taiwan, is listing three new bond ETFs that span the quality spectrum. They are:

  • Yuanta China Treasury + Policy Bank 3-5 Year Bond ETF (00721B)

  • Yuanta US Treasury 1-3 Year Bond ETF (00719B)

  • Yuanta US 20+ Year BBB Corporate Bond ETF (00720B)
