Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Credit Suisse Asset Management have expanded their respective ETF teams with senior sales appointments.

Hasham Niazi has joined Goldman Sachs AM as an ETF sales associate covering the German market, while Kay Winistörfer has joined Credit Suisse AM as vice president of ETF and index sales.

Niazi joins from State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) where he spent almost four years, most recently as ETF sales assistant vice president for Germany.

Prior to this, he was institutional ETF sales for Germany and Austria for Société Générale.

Covering the German-speaking regions of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Winistörfer will report to Elemer Schneider, head of distribution for Switzerland and Liechtenstein at Credit Suisse AM.

He will be responsible for developing existing client relationships and establishing new distribution channels for the group’s index funds and ETFs.

Winistörfer joins from Six Swiss Exchange where he has been ETF and ETP sales manager for the past two-and-a-half years.

He also covered Swiss-based and international authorised participants, market makers and liquidity providers. Prior to Six, he held roles at Credit Suisse and Palasis AG.
