HANetf hires head of customer acquisition

Role includes expanding the firm's partners and product offering

HANetf has appointed Anil Sood as head of customer acquisition for the white label ETF issuer.

Reporting to co-CEO Hector McNeil, Sood (pictured) will be responsible for increasing the range of partners and ETFs on HANetf’s platform.

Prior to joining HANetf, Sood held ETF sales roles at Cantor Fitzgerald and Knight Capital Group.

Commenting on the appointment, McNeil said: “The appetite for ETFs grows stronger every day as investors are placing higher value on products that offer great exposures with the added benefits of cost-effectiveness and liquidity.

“Anil’s experience in growing ETF businesses will be an important component of developing exciting products for European investors.”

The appointment comes in tandem with the ETF issuer reaching the milestone of $750m assets under management.

The eleven-fold increase in AUM year-to-date follows several product launches including the Royal Mint Physical Gold UCITS ETF (RMAU) in February and the BTCetc Bitcoin Exchange Traded Crypto (BTCE).
