Hargreaves Lansdown has expanded its passive research arm to include ETFs in response to client demand and industry developments.
The ETF research arm will be led by the firm’s passive fund analyst Alex Watkins, who will be supported by the senior research team including Kate Marshall.
With a focus on ETFs listed in the UK, the research arm will include analysis of ESG integration, investment process and performance.
Emma Wall, head of investment analysis and research at Hargreaves Lansdown, commented: “The research covers the same key areas as for all our collectives analysis; the people, process, ESG integration, culture, price and performance of ETFs.
“The first four research updates were published this week, with the remainder rolled out over the coming months. This is an exciting step in developing our research processes to meet the emerging needs of our growing client base.”
