Invesco has promoted its head of UK passive sales Kate Dwyer to head of UK distribution as part of a flurry of new appointments.

Reporting to Oliver Bilal, head of EMEA distribution at Invesco, Dwyer (pictured) will be responsible for the distribution of Invesco’s broader asset classes across the UK.

She first joined the business in 2018 after the US giant acquired European ETF provider Source.

Prior to this, she was at Morgan Stanley for over seven years working in equity finance sales.

Invesco said it was in the process of recruiting for Dwyer’s replacement as head of passives UK and added it will look to continue to innovate in the ETF and active thematic space.

Commenting on the appointment, Bilal said: “We are seeing continued client demand for private market capabilities, tailored investment solutions for retail and institutional clients, notably in personal savings products with decumulation features and generating different levels of income.

“In addition, we will continue to innovate the ETF and active thematic space, notably with an ESG tilt.”

He added the group was looking to strengthen partnerships with private banks, wealth managers and insurance companies.

Last Friday, the asset manager said it downgraded its entire Article 9 Paris-aligned Benchmark (PAB) climate ETF range to Article 8 under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).
