Ultumus appoints buyside and fixed income head

Herrington has held management and analyst roles at LGIM and Vanguard

ETF data provider Ultumus has appointed Adam Herrington as head of buyside and fixed income.

Based in London, Herrington (pictured) is responsible for developing the company’s index and analytics offering for the asset management space by working with the global technology, operations and business analysis teams.

Prior to joining Ultumus, Herrington held senior index data management and analyst roles at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) and Vanguard.

His previous responsibilities included the creation and onboarding of new indices and managing support of fund management, performance and operation activities.

Bernie Thurston, CEO of Ultumus, commented: “Herrington joining Ultumus is a key hire for the business and will enable the company to expand delivery of our benchmark data service to the buyside, who are keen to leverage the improvements in technology, support and functionality we offer.”

The firm has made multiple key hires in 2020 including the appointment of former IHS Markit director Janet Richardson as COO and Fe Zamora to head the US office.
