This is the second partnership Ultumus has completed in two months having signed off a deal with cloud-based swaps trading programme Nuvo Prime at the beginning of March.
Following the partnership, Ultumus and Velox have combined their specialities to offer a desktop data platform, integrating data and workflow to make the underlying data more accessible for ETF investors.
Velox offers investment banks and asset managers portfolio management, trading and analytics solutions. Ultumus has incorporated Velox’s technology to enable its solutions to work both offline (in the cloud) and locally installed.
Ultumus hopes the next generation of its data platform will reduce its clients’ operational risk who lack the technology to expand and develop in to this market.
Bernie Thurston, CEO at Ultumus, commented: "This partnership allows us to provide our service to a client as both an enterprise wide-managed data feed and now direct to trading desks, risk and performance attribution teams with all the associated tools. We now offer a solution that satisfies front to back office, buy and sell side."
