Vanguard has poached Liz Wright to be their new ETF sales specialist from ETF Securities where she was head of UK wealth.
The move comes a matter of days after WisdomTree completed its $611m acquisition of ETF Securities.
Prior to joining ETF Securities in 2013 Wright was UK IFA sales director from Barclays Wealth Management.
Wright will report to Andreas Zingg, head of ETF distribution, Europe at Vanguard who said her knowledge and experience would be of "great value" as Vanguard looked to continue its expansion plans in Europe and the UK.
"We will keep investing in the people, initiatives and products that can help investors achieve the best chance of investment success."
Wright joins a lengthening list of departures from ETF Securities following the acquisition. This includes Nizam Hamid, the ETF strategist at ETF Securities.
