Sven Jari Stehn

Jari is head of Europe Economics and leads the firm's research on the global economy. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2010 in the US economics group in New York and was named managing directorin 2013.

Prior to joining the firm, Jari worked as an economist at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC. Jari graduated with a first-class honors degree and a master’s degree in economics from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, in 2003 and 2004, respectively. He earned a PhD in Economics from Brasenose College, University of Oxford, in 2007.
