ETF Stream has revealed the shortlist for this year’s ETF awards which is set to take place on 30 November, in partnership with Morningstar Indexes.
Europe’s most important ETF awards act as a barometer of success for the European ETF industry and celebrate the achievements of the ecosystem in 2023.
This year, ETF Stream has added five categories – Active ETF Of The Year, Commodity ETF Of The Year, RFQ Platform Of The Year, ETF PR Firm Of The Year and Ticker Of The Year – which takes the total number of awards to 25.
Following a rigorous assessment of the nominations, the editorial team at ETF Stream including editor Tom Eckett and founder and strategic adviser David Stevenson selected the shortlist.
Subsequently, the judging panel of nine external experts from across the European ETF market will analyse the submissions and cast votes to determine who will be the winner of each award.
The nine judges are:

Pawel Janus, co-founder and head of analytics, ETFbook
Dan Caps, investment manager, Evelyn Partners
Roxane Sanguinetti, head of strategy, GHCO
Liz Wright, head of EMEA index sales, Morningstar Indexes
Wayne Nutland, fund manager, Premier Miton
Veronique Morel-Kane, senior wealth manager and branch principal, Raymond James
John Leiper, CIO, Titan Asset Management
This year, four ETF buyers – Caps, Leiper, Morel-Kane, Nutland – and Morningstar’s Wright will select the winners of 12 awards including ETF Issuer Of The Year and ETF Of The Year.
Meanwhile, five ETF industry experts will judge the other nine awards including Index Provider Of The Year and Liquidity Provider Of The Year.
Four awards – Outstanding Contribution To ETFs, ETF Buyer Of The Year, Ticker Of The Year and ETF PR Firm Of The Year – will be selected by ETF Stream’s editorial team.

“With these awards, ETF Stream recognises the participants that are driving innovation and have been the most successful in delivering positive outcomes to clients.”
