SIX-owned ETF data provider Ultumus has hired Bam Adeshina as a senior analyst.

Based in London, Adeshina will support clients of Ultumus ETF data services.

He previously spent 10 years in ETF data and indexing within the DeltaOne division at IHS Markit, covering aggregated data feeds, ETF and PCF calculation and reference data management.

He later spent two years as a project manager at S&P Global Ratings after IHS Markit was acquired by S&P Global.

Adeshina commented: “I look forward to being able to utilise my experience in the ETF data space to assist Ultumus clients in using its award-winning data service. I have known the founders of Ultumus for over a decade and am excited to finally be working with them”.

Adam Herrington, head of business development at Ultumus, added: “We are delighted to have Bam join the Ultumus team. His wealth of experience in the ETF space will be vital for the continued growth and development of the Ultumus data and services offering.”

Adeshina’s arrival follows the hire of Matthew Knapman as head of ETF product and COSMOS in January

A year prior the data provider partnered with Vyne of ETF and index data.
