HANetf has appointed Yann Hericotte to the newly created role of head of ETF sales for France.

Hericotte will be responsible for growing the firm’s ETF platform and driving sales in the French region, with the white-label issuer stating he will be the firm’s first entry point into the French market.

He enters the role with eight years of experience in ETF sales and banking including his most recent spell at Avalon Capital Markets where he spent a year in equity sales and three years in the firm’s ETF division.

Prior to this, he spent more than a year as a wealth manager at LCL Private Banking and two years as premier advisor at French cooperative bank, BRED.

In his new role, Hericotte will report to Simon Dale, head of sales at HANetf.

Commenting on the hire, Dale said: “Yann’s appointment is an important step towards expanding our ETF business across Europe. With his deep knowledge of the French market and understanding of investor needs, Yann will play a key role in growing our platform in the region.

“We expect the French market to be as impactful to our growth as the rest of the major markets in Europe have been to date."

Hericotte’s arrival comes only a week after HANetf hired Robin Kooijman as head of Benelux sales from Lyxor.
