Amundi has named former BlackRock sales head Florian Kurz as executive director for ETF sales in Germany.
In the newly created role, Kurz will be responsible for the distribution of Amundi’s ETF and index products within its advisory networks including retail and private banks.
Furthermore, he will strengthen relationships with savings and cooperative banks while growing its strategic partnerships and cooperations.
Kurz spent over eight years at BlackRock, most recently as head of network sales and solutions in Germany, working across the group’s full solutions, including active, indexed and private markets products.
He also spent time overseeing the sales for the ETF and index business for institutional and wealth clients in the region.
Prior to this, he worked at Unicredit where he led several strategic projects for the business.
