BlackRock’s Keegan: Time to get ‘nimble’ with fixed income allocations

After decades of low inflation and volatility, Andrew Keegan, head of wealth EMEA for BlackRock multi-asset strategies and solutions, said investors should shift from strategies such as the 60/40 or playing duration to a new “nimble” playbook in non-core bond ETFs and beyond.

Speaking at ETF Stream’s ETF Ecosystem Unwrapped 2023 event, Keegan (pictured) questioned whether investors could rely upon the simple equity-bond split for diversification, saying “some of us can and some cannot – last year was a great example of the latter”...
