Ossiam has expanded its Shiller range of ETFs with the launch of a global equity strategy.

The Ossiam Shiller Barclays Cape Global Sector Value UCITS ETF (EUPA) is listed on the Deutsche Boerse, Six Swiss Exchange, London Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana and Euronext Paris with a total expense ratio (TER) of 0.65%.

Synthetically replicated, EUPA will follow a similar strategy to its US and European equivalents which house roughly €2.6bn assets under management (AUM) as of December 2022.

It will track the Shiller Barclays CAPE Global Sector Net TR Index, constructed based on the cyclically-adjusted price/earnings (CAPE) ratio, designed by Professor Robert Shiller and his graduate student John Campbell.

The strategy allows the index to rotate in and out of sectors based on the above metrics.

Ossiam also runs ESG versions of the US and European equity ETFs.

Bruno Poulin, CEO of Ossiam, said: “By launching our latest Ossiam Shiller Barclays fund, we aim to offer global investors the advantages of a unique, sound methodology to take advantage of global equity sector rotation in a single trade.”

It is the latest launch by Ossiam since it unveiled its suite of Paris-Aligned Benchmark (PAB) climate ETFs in August last year.

Two months earlier, the firm shuttered two ETFs, the £2m Ossiam FTSE 100 Minimum Variance UCITS ETF (UKMV) and £10m Ossiam Emerging Markets ESG Low Carbon UCITS ETF (DEMV) due to a lack of investor demand.
