Skerritts has appointed Wayne Nutland as a multi-asset investment manager from Premier Miton.

Based in Hove, Nutland (pictured) joins the firm’s investment team with a primary focus on the firm’s Espirit range of multi-asset funds.

Nutland, who is a member of ETF Stream’s ETF Buyers Club, previously spent four years as a fund manager at Premier Miton and oversaw the firm’s multi-asset managed index balanced fund.

Prior to this, he spent 19 years as HSBC Global Asset Management, formerly as an equity analyst and latterly as head of discretionary, UK multi-asset, responsible for managing £10bn across various products.

Speaking to ETF Stream, Nutland said: “I am delighted to be joining Skerritts at such an exciting time in their development.”

His arrival follows the appointment of former Quilter head Paul Feeney as CEO in May last year.

After receiving private equity backing in 2021, Skerritts has implemented a ‘buy and build’ strategy and has since completed nine deals, primarily focused on smaller wealth management firms in the South of England.
