UBS Asset Management has expanded its ‘ESG Elite’ range with the launch of an S&P US dividend aristocrats ETF.

The UBS ETF S&P USA Dividend Aristocrats ESG Elite UCITS ETF (CHSB) is listed on the Deutsche Boerse, SIX Swiss Exchange, Euronext Milan and the London Stock Exchange with a total expense ratio (TER) of 0.40%.

CHSB tracks the S&P ESG Elite High Yield Dividend Aristocrats index designed to measure the dividend yield weighted performance of the S&P Dow Jones Indices (SPDJI) ESG score-screed companies within the S&P Composite 1500.

The companies will meet strict ESG criteria while following a managed-dividend policy of consistently increasing dividends every year for at least 20 years.

In addition, the index screens out ESG laggards, the worst 25% in terms of SPDJI ESG score, and implements a set of norms-based exclusions and business activities-based exclusions, including conventional and unconventional oil and gas, thermal coal, controversial weapon and tobacco.

The ETF is classified as Article 8 under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).

It comes as the Swiss asset manager also listed an ESG version of its all-country Asia ex-Japan ETF.

The UBS ETF MSCI AC Asia ex Japan ESG Leaders Low Carbon Select UCITS ETF (AAXJSI) listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange with a TER of 0.29% on 28 June.

AAXJSI will track the MSCI AC Asia ex Japan ESG Leaders Low Carbon Select 5% Issuer Capped Total Return index.

UBS AM has been rapidly expanding its ESG ETF range in recent months, launching the UBS ETF MSCI Australia ESG Universal Low Carbon Select UCITS ETF (AUESG) in May.

The most recent launch comes a week after the Swiss asset manager unveiled the UBS ETF MSCI Switzerland IMI Dividend ESG UCITS ETF (CHDIV) with a TER of 0.20%.

Last month, the firm unveiled the UBS Carbon Compensated Gold ETF (GLDC02), which listed on the Six Swiss Exchange with a fee of 0.30%.
