Ultumus appoints former IHS Markit director as COO

ETF data service provider Ultumus has appointed Janet Richardson as chief operating officer (COO).

Richardson (pictured) is responsible for developing the firm’s technology team, overseeing operations, human resources and legal departments.

Prior to joining Ultumus, Richardson held senior programme and change management roles at IHS Markit and GSK. Her responsibilities included managing global technology and operations teams as well as reporting to financial regulators.

Richardson is based in Ultumus’s London offices. The firm also has offices in Singapore and San Francisco which opened at the beginning of March.

Horizon Software and Ultumus develop data offering

Bernie Thurston, CEO and founder of Ultumus, said in a comment: “Richardson joining Ultumus as COO is a key hire for the business and will enable the company to pursue our growth strategy and further develop our business model.”
