The MSCI ACWI IMI SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities Select Index is based on the MSCI ACWI IMI Index (Parent Index) and is designed to reflect the performance of the shares of large, medium, and small-capitalisation companies globally that are associated with a positive contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11 (make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable) (SDG 11). In order to be eligible for inclusion in the index, companies must be eligible for inclusion in the Parent Index and must pass the ESG screening criteria and either (i) the SDG impact selection criteria or (ii) the SDG thematic selection criteria.
