The Solactive Energy Transition Commodity TR Index provides a return equivalent to a fully “collateralized” investment in a diversified portfolio of commodity futures and transferable securities with a view to providing exposure to the prices of: transition metals; transition energy; and carbon.The index rolls systematically into commodity futures with different expiry dates of up to 1 year, selecting specific contracts based on the shape of the futures curve or other idiosyncratic properties. In addition to returns generated by the commodity strategy, the Index includes the returns on cash collateral invested in the Secured Overnight Financing Rate ("SOFR") in order to represent a fully collateralized investment.
