The WisdomTree Emerging Markets ex-StateOwned Enterprises ESG Screened Index is rule-based and is comprised of the companies from emerging market nations selected based on government ownership criteria: Companies with less than 20% government ownership of the shares outstanding are selected for inclusion within the Index. Eligibility requirements for the Index include: (i) incorporation within one of 17 emerging market nations (Brazil, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, and Turkey); and (ii) meet minimum market capitalisation and liquidity criteria as detailed in the index methodology. The Index excludes companies based on environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria.
