Invesco has appointed Anna Paglia as global head of ETFs and indexed strategies, replacing Dan Draper who left to join S&P Dow Jones Indices as CEO in April.

Effective 15 June, Paglia (pictured) will be responsible for leading the global ETF business and driving its growth.

She previously served as head of legal for the firm’s US ETF and UIT business for almost a decade.

Prior to Invesco, she spent two years at Barclays Global Investors between 2004 and 2006 before joining K&L Gates as a partner.

Paglia will report to Andrew Schlossberg, senior managing director and head of the Americas at Invesco.

Schlossberg commented: “Anna has been instrumental in building the global scale and breadth of our ETF business, and we are fortunate to have someone with her experience to take our business forward.

“I look forward to partnering with her and our global team to explore new opportunities for the continued growth of our ETFs and indexed strategies business.”
