The Bloomberg Indian Government FAR Bond Index measures the performance of INR-denominated, fixed-rate, nominal Treasury bonds issued by the Government of India under the Fully Accessible Route (“FAR”). Only specified securities as periodically notified by the Reserve Bank of India for investment under the FAR route are eligible for inclusion in the Index. Bonds included in the Index must have a minimum remaining maturity of one year and a minimum issue size of INR 10 billion.
