BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has expanded Jérémy Tubiana’s role to include head of digital distribution as the group looks to increase its online platform presence across Europe.

Tubiana’s new pan-European digital role will sit alongside his existing position as head of ETF and index business solutions.

He joined BNPP AM in October 2022 and is responsible for strengthening the firm’s ETF and index fund franchise across French-speaking markets.

Prior to this, Tubiana was an ETF development manager at Lyxor, and then Amundi, where he was responsible for developing its offering with financial advisers, online banks and robo-advisers.

From 2009 to 2016, Tubiana was at the French management company C&M Finances as a sales manager.

Tubiana started his career at BNPP AM, where he was commercial assistant in the investment bank.

Commenting on the appointment, a BNP spokesperson, said: “ETF issuers have been increasing their digital presence across Europe and the expansion of platforms and digital distribution solutions has been accompanied by growing retail demand for ETF savings plans.

“In this role, Jérémy will be instrumental in ensuring that we are well positioned to take advantage of the changes that are happening in the European market.”

Other hires from the French asset manager came last September when it strengthened its Swiss-based ETF sales team with the appointment of Kay Winistörfer as ETF sales specialist for Switzerland.
